INFO:
It’s been over a year since the war in Ukraine started. Many Canadians still have family in that country, and some Ukrainians now call Canada home. That’s why many people in Nagara Falls took part in a fundraising event today called Steppe Up for Ukraine. More than a hundred people got on their bikes and rode around Niagara Falls to raise money for the Ukrainian community and to remind people of the devastation in that country. All of the money raised from this ride will go to the Ukrainian community, some will be sent to that country, and some will stay in Niagara Falls. Over the past 12 months, Steppe Up for Ukraine has raised more than $160,000.
